Yes!!! you heard it right, Facebook recently announced that it is going to launch monetisation for videos soon.
How it will work?
Facebook will help its creators make money by ad breaks in between the videos uploaded by them. Ads breaks will be short ads a creator can include in his eligible videos. Ads will be placed at natural breaks or you can add them on your own choice of placements.
Here are some conditions and criteria for creators to be eligible for monetisation.
1. 10,000 Followers
Only those pages are eligible which have 10,000 followers or more.
2. 3-minutes Long videos
Only 3-minutes long videos will be eligible for monetisation
3. 30,000 1-minute Views
Your must have 30,000 1-minute views on your 3-minutes long videos for past 60 days.
4. Countries and Languages supported
At the moment only English language is supported for the videos but soon more languages will be available. Countries supported for the monetistion at the moments are United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland but soon there will be more countries eligible.
